We have an overarching direction that we wish to keep to. We want the focus of Salt to be about adventuring and role-playing. We, the developers love this style of game, and we are at our best when we are creating something that we love. What do we mean by adventuring and role-playing? Basically, we mean do awesome things to get nice loot, and feel good about yourself.
While keeping in line with our primary direction, we also intend to stay flexible. Many of our ideas turned out to be nothing like we imagined them being. If we implement something, and it ends up being a detriment to the game, we will scrap it and move on. As we continue to make improvements to the game, we will come up with new ideas that will be added. We will also get a lot of good feedback from you, the player, that will help guide us in making the best game that we can.
